Your country's natural resources have gradually, yet severely, depleted over the past several years. There is a nearby country that is not nearly as strong as your own, and has an abundance of resources. What do you do?
Unfortunately you lack the technology to travel that far, you would have to walk or ride a horse and there is not enough grass to keep your horses alive on this planet. Your imperialism is not successful.
