Norman had a dreadful wake up. It was nothing out of the ordinary- Norman hated the first few minutes of the morning- but today was particularly unpleasant. Perhaps it had to do with the chicken he had right before bed. He knew that he didn't cook it through enough. He also knew that it was slightly expired. Last nights episode of CSI was also dreadful. He knew the episode very well, it was the least favorite of his from the fifth season, and every time Norman had to watch it, something inside of him gurgled in irritated anger. The alarm clock was still beeping.
