A GenCon Adventure
It's Saturday. There is a seminar of interest today. This is your attempt to get to it.

As you head towards the convention center, you overhear a snippet of conversation. "...yeah, but even if you get past the glaring technical problems, Diamond Mercenaries 2 is nothing but a derivative shoot-em-up with no redeeming gameplay or narrative features. And GAWD, the stealth portion was terrible!"

WHAT.

Something stirs inside you, a small flame that grows into a bonfire. Your fist is in the man's face before you realize what is happening.

"THE STEALTH SECTIONS WERE A WELCOME CHANGE OF PACE TO THE INTENSE ACTION OF THE MAIN MISSIONS!"

The convention-wide brawl that ensues reminds you very much of when you met those nice chaps who played on Twisting Nether in WoW: you were exchanging war stories until you began an anecdote about running Scholomance for your epic mount quest. The blank stares were interrupted by someone asking "Wait, are you Horde?" Your reply of "No, human paladin." set off an hour-long fracas that encompassed the entire TrueDungeon cityscape. Thank god you found that Brawler's Mug when you did. Good times.

By the time you regain consciousness, it's 8:00. Damn. You really wanted to ask R.A. Salvatore about his thoughts on the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV relaunch.

Oh well, next year, for sure!
You've reached an end!
