Animal Farm Adventure
An introductory activity to George Orwell's Animal Farm

A cold and harsh winter is approaching. This is the farm's first winter after the rebellion and unfortunately the harvests haven't been going too well. One of our smartest pigs, Napoleon, suggests that the farm can survive the winter if we buy food. However, we would need money. The farm asks that the hens selflessly sacrifice their eggs so they can be sold to humans. The contract requires 400 eggs per week. The hens are very upset. Some of the animals feel that this goes against the spirit of Animal Farm, and maybe even some of the commandments. What do you do?
