You quickly open the fridge and start throwing all the food you can at the monster, hoping to distract it or sate whatever hunger drives it after you. The thing takes notice of the edibles being thrown at it, promptly grabbing food with it's tentacles and shoving it into it's many mouths. You attempt to run past, only to be tripped by a tentacle wrapping around your ankle!
You fight to pull free, kicking against the creature, but more tentacles wrap around your limbs and body; you scream your last breaths as sharp teeth sinks into your flesh.
You die as the main course of the feast you fed to the monster.
