You grab the various bottles, pulling the caps off before throwing them at the creature! The beast reacts to the various caustic chemicals, especially when they combine to make noxious fumes and acid. It alternates sounds between a gurgling hacking and pained squeals. Remembering that some of the chemicals you threw at it were petroleum based, you grab a nearby box of matches and light the entire box on fire. You toss it at the pool of chemicals as you risk running past!
You cough and gag as the noxious fumes enter your nostrils, the monster catching fire. You have a feeling that this won't end well for your building, but you're reasonably sure that your neighbors are either gone, dead, or have sense enough to get to the fire escape. Speaking of which, you decide that this is the best way to exit, seeing as you can already hear more strange noises outside your front door.
