How to create your own adventures/information on the various pages of the site.

Now it's time to move to the Screen Editor. There's a handy button above the Adventure Options to take us there, so click on that.

What you'll see next is a screen that will become very familiar to you in time. Right now, your adventure is in its beginning stages, so this screen shows only the pre-generated beginning screen.

In the top left corner is an informational box. The rest of the canvas is yours to use as a storyliner and organizational tool. The beginning screen has a "[B]" after its name to indicate that this is where a user will start when they choose to read your adventure -- it's page 1. You can change the starting point from the Adventure Options screen later if you find that you want to try something different without deleting all your previous work. In any case, let's edit our screen. First, click on the box representing it. Then choose "Edit..." from the menu that results. Alternatively, you can double-click on a screen to edit it more quickly.

Here, in the "Editing Screen".... screen, you'll see several options. At the top is a notification that this is the beginning of your adventure; obviously, this will only be visible when that's the case. The row of buttons that follows allows you to Save, Preview, or Close the Editing window; if this screen weren't the first one in the Adventure, we would also be able to Delete it from here.

Next there's a small area for the Screen Name. This isn't best filled with "radiohead1989"; instead, it serves as a description of the screen for your organizational purposes. This is the name that will show up in the box on the Screen Editor.

But the major component of this page is the main text of the Screen. The text editor is a fairly standard one, with normal options for text size, color, style, justification, and the like. There are also two options on the right for inserting pictures or videos into the Screen. For now, let's just change the Screen Name and write a brief introduction to the story.

Press Save to make sure our work is saved, and then Close the window.

Next, we'll map out the rest of the adventure!
